How to Fix Devices: Software & Hardware

When your device starts acting up, don’t just panic and Google “buy new one.” 90% of problems come down to either software or hardware, and both are fixable if you go step by step.

Software Fix: Restart the device first. Then check for updates. If it’s still slow or glitchy, run a malware scan and clear cache. Worst case? Reinstall the app or reset the system.
Hardware Fix: Check the basics. Is it plugged in? Are cables loose? Look for overheating, dust, or physical damage. If your PC won’t boot, reset the RAM. If your phone won’t charge, try a different cable.

The key is to test one thing at a time. That way you know exactly what fixed it. And if you do have to take it to a shop, you’ll sound like you know what you’re talking about so they can’t overcharge you.
